I hand painted this map section based on the Montmartre district of a 1900 Map of Paris that I found in a Chicago used book store. I'm often asked exactly where the street corner is for my Montmartre Boulangerie watercolor and that spurred the idea to paint a corresponding map that includes its location.

This was a fun detailed piece to create. The watercolor on the piece is nearly obscured. The next time I expect I'll use all acrylics.
